BIOGRAPHY
I have a dual interest in Neuroscience and Medicine, basic science and clinical translation. My long-term professional goal is to become a clinical neuroscientist. I wish to utilise my training in translational cognitive neuroscience and clinical medicine to advance understanding of brain function and dysfunction, and to ultimately improve the rehabilitation of neurological patients. To pursue this goal, I joined the French MD-PhD program ”INSERM School”, and obtained a BSc in Medicine (Lyon-1 University, France), an MSc in Neuroscience (Sorbonne University, France), and a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience (University of Oxford, U.K.). After completing my postdoctoral work in the Department of Experimental Psychology, my plan is to finish my medical training in France.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My PhD thesis addressed the computational and neural mechanisms, and therapeutic potential of prism adaptation combined with brain stimulation for neuro-rehabilitation of post-stroke spatial neglect. My current research focusses on the mechanisms underlying motivation and apathy in health and disease.
