I currently work on the diagnosis of subjective and mild cognitive impairment (SCI and MCI), carrying out longitudinal follow-ups of patients with these conditions to understand prognosis. In parallel, I work on a project using techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to uderstand and build a profile of apathy in Parkinson's Disease.
My previous research focused on developing computerised cognitive assessments, such as The Oxford Cognitive Screen (OCS) and OCS-BRIDGE, for diagnosing impairments in all cognitive domains (memory, language, attention, executive functions, number processing) following a stroke. This research was useful for informing multi-disciplinary teams in clinical settings and providing adequate and cost-effective diagnosis for stroke survivors.
